The summer time is a great time to pick up a good book. Get out of the heat and spend some time in your local library. Here are some books that I highly recommend for mindset resets and a little food for thought.
Coming up first, we have the amazing book We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers. This book is about building generational wealth and getting rid of habits and self-limiting beliefs that keep us in a detrimental state. Though there are countless successful female business owners today, we live in a society that certainly hasn't always celebrated this.
This book is doing so much to change my mindset!

Rachel Rodgers is unapologetic in wanting the best for all of us. She even speaks of the importance of setting boundaries and ensuring that you keep the best people possible in your circle. By pulling in historical context and real life anecdotes, Rachel Rodgers celebrates our successes throughout her book. Grab yourself a copy and read it with your best group of friends.
The Other Black Girl is the guest of honor at the Epic Book Chat Volume II. This is one of my favorite books of all time and I absolutely adore it, though the prospect of its premise actually coming true terrifies me!

Last but not least, check out Careless Whispers by Synthia Williams. I walked into a bookstore and this amazing author had a section all her own. How had I never heard of this woman before?! I adore her style of writing and with the steamy way she describes her love scenes, I will most definitely be picking up more of her books in the near future.
