The first book on this list should be no surprise: We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers. This book changed my mindset a lot; it really allowed me to step into the higher version of myself. It allowed me to become a lot more confident in myself as a business owner. This book assists in removing a lot of blockages that I, as a Black female business owner am currently working on removing. The book includes advice on how to combat imposter syndrome. If you're looking for something to tweak your mindset just a tad, I highly recommend this book.

The second book on our list is called It's About Time by Valerie Burton. This book encourages us to make important things a priority in our lives and budget our time accordingly. It encourages us to let the guilt go when it's time for us to put ourselves first. The author has great advice on how to incorporate time management into your life; this book is full of little worksheets that you can use to write down how you're spending your time. Using these worksheets, you can determine if it's time to switch things up or get rid of things that are not productive. It assists you with being intentional with your time.

These two books will make a difference in your mindset. Grab a copy for you and your business bestie!

Think and Grow Rich: A Black Choice by Dennis KImbro is an amazing, very thought-provoking book that gives great examples of how mindset is absolutely everything when it comes to wealth. If you're looking for a book about changing your mindset and bringing in abundance, I highly recommend this one. It is so rare that we see examples of Black excellence in the media and this book paints a picture of historical Black evidence that we can't forget.

Are you having trouble with setting boundaries? You have to check out this book called Set Boundaries: Find Peace. This book was incredibly popular when it came out, but boundaries are definitely a concept that many people seem to have a difficult time creating and respecting. Though I am a lover of fiction books, I really resonated with this book because it spoke to so many of my weaknesses as a recovering people pleaser. It opened my mind to an easier way to operate.

Rest is Resistance by Tricia Hersey may as well be my favorite book at this point. I am all about incorporating rest into my life and honoring myself by convening with the ancestors. I use it as a tenet in my business because I literally feel like my ancestors are helping me run my business. Rest assists me with solving the issues that occur in my daily life and I am a big proponent of that.

These five books should definitely be in your arsenal as a business owner. They will equip you with the confidence needed to make business and life so much easier. Want to hear more? Check out my video about these amazing books!
