You Made a Fool of ... A Book Review of You Made of Fool of Death With Your Beauty

I am so happy that I was gifted this book last year, as it was on my list to read. While I never know when I will get through my whole list, I am always more than thrilled to add more and more literary gems to it.

The author Akwaeke Emezi penned this beautiful book and left nothing to be desired. They have a way with words that paint both love and fight scences with a gold plated brush. The story had a taste of tragedy and an unexpected, yet much needed love was born to soothe the pain.

I want to know the author's motivation for writing such a story.

Our main character, Feyi, suffered a loss at a young age that left her with scars, scars that made her wonder if she'd ever love again. Would you be able to do that?
